Tom's Chocolate Brownies with Balsamic Cherries

  1. 1.Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees and greese 11x11 baking dish.
  2. 2.Place the cherries and Balsamic in a small, microwaveable bowl and place in the microwave oven for 1 minutes.
  3. 3.Allow the cherries to soak while you make the brownie batter.
  4. 4.Prepare the batter as is stated on the box.
  5. 5.Fold the cherries and balsamic into the batter.
  6. 6.Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and place into the oven.
  7. 7.Bake for 15-20 minutes until the brownies are just firm but still fudgy in the center.
  8. 8.Remove from the oven, allow to cool for 10-15 minutes then serve with ice cream.
  9. A GREAT variation to this is to drizzle Celia's Dark Chocolate Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar over the top of you favorite brownie batter just prior to baking and bake as normal. Serve with Whipped Cream folded with the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Balsamic as well!
