Mama Celia's Banana Split Cake

  1. Must be made 24 hours in advance, placed in fridge. 13x9 pan
  2. 1st layer: 2 c graham cracker crumbs, ½ c melted margarine.. mix & pat in bottom
  3. 2nd layer: 2 cubs margarine,1 box powdered sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp butter flavoring… beat for 15 min at high speed. Fold over cracker crumbs.
  4. 3rd layer: 1 med can (#2) crushed pineapple; including juice
  5. 4th layer: sliced bananas (about 4 or 5 not too ripe)
  6. 5th layer: large carton of cool whip (thawed).. spread over bananas
  7. 6th layer: Sprinkle chopped nuts over
  8. 7th layer: Chopped marachino cherries
